Chocolatey Client
To install certifytheweb from the command line, run the following command:
```
choco install certifytheweb --version 7.2.0 --source https://proget.cnsit.com/nuget/Chocolatey/
```
Certify Certificate Manager makes it easy to request, install, manage and automatically renew free SSL/TLS certificates from [Let's Encrypt](https://letsencrypt.org/) and other ACME certificate authorities, for IIS and for any other Windows service that needs a certificate.
### This package installs
* **Certify Certificate Manager** - the desktop app (`UI.Desktop\Certify.UI.Desktop.exe`)
* **Certify Management Agent** - the background Windows service which performs renewals
* **Certify CLI** - `Certify.exe`
The default install location is `%ProgramFiles%\CertifyTheWeb`.
### Features
* Automated certificate requests and IIS binding deployment
* Automatic renewal and certificate maintenance via the background service
* Single domain, multi-domain (SAN) and wildcard certificates
* HTTP or DNS challenge validation, with 30+ DNS provider APIs and the managed Certify DNS service
* ACME CAs including Let's Encrypt, Google Trust Services, ZeroSSL and Martini Security, plus private ACME servers
* Stored credentials protected by the Windows Data Protection API
* Pre/post request deployment tasks and scripting (Exchange, RDS, CCS, Apache, nginx, Azure Key Vault, Hashicorp Vault, webhooks and more)
* Optional connection to the self-hosted Certify Management Hub
### Requirements
* Windows 64-bit, limited to operating systems Microsoft currently support
* PowerShell 5.1 or higher, for deployment tasks and some DNS providers
* Administrator rights - setup registers the `Certify Management Agent` Windows service
No .NET runtime prerequisite: the app ships self-contained.
### Notes
* Certify Certificate Manager and Certify Management Hub cannot be installed on the same machine. Setup will stop if the Hub is present.
* Upgrading from v6 or earlier is blocked when the legacy `Certify.Service` runs under a custom (non LocalSystem) account, because the service account is tied to the encryption of stored credentials. Those installs must be upgraded manually - see https://docs.certifytheweb.com
The app is free to download and evaluate, with no feature restrictions and no time limit. License keys are available for commercial organisations and for users who require support.
